Arabian oryx - Ryx leucoryx

The Arabian Orynx was brought to the Hai-Bar Wildlife Preserve from the Saudi-Arebia. From cave drawings found in the Sinai and Eilat areas, it is clear that the Orynx was once very common to the Israli landscape, until to Roman period, when he was exterminated from the wild.
